Heated Reaction Blocks
Reaction blocks have internal electric heaters for homogeneous, fast and efficient heating. All blocks are permanently attached to quick mount shaker mounting plates.

Catalog # Vial Size (diameter) Vial Positions
RB-2 2 ml (12mm) 96 (8 x 12 array)
RB-4 4 ml (15mm) 96 (8 x 12 array)

Heated & Cooled Reaction Blocks
Heated and Cooled Reaction blocks have the same internal electric heater as heated reaction blocks, plus the addition of an internal milled liquid flow path that surrounds every vial position. Cooling is provided by circulating chilled liquids through the block by means of a re-circulating chiller or using liquid nitrogen. All blocks are permanently attached to quick mount shaker mounting plates.

Catalog # Vial Size (diameter) Vial Positions
RBC-2 2 ml (12mm) 70 (7 x 10 array)
RBC-4 4 ml (15mm) 70 (7 x 10 array)
RBC-8 8 ml (17mm) 70 (7 x 10 array)
RBC-20 20 ml (28mm) 63 (7 X 9 array)

Reflux Reaction Blocks
Reflux Reaction blocks consist of a heated bottom layer, a cooled top layer and an insulated middle layer. This configuration allows refluxing in capped vials without pressure build up. Heating is provided by an internal electric heater and cooling by internally milled coolant channels. Cooling channels (optional) can be added to the bottom heated layer to allow heating, cooling and refluxing in the same block.
