Controller Updates

J-KEM Scientific’s Infinity controller has a
built-in utility that allows you to load program updates or enhancements
to your controller as they become available. How it works 1. J-KEM writes the enhanced program at its facility in St. Louis. J-KEM will send you the new program as an attachment to an email. The new program will have the extension of: *****.bin. 2. To upload the new program to your Infinity Controller, your PC will need the software on the bottom of this page Instructions 1. Right click on the program “Infinity.exe” below and select “Save Target As..” from the pop-up menu. Save this file either to your C drive or the Desktop of your PC. Infinity.exe is a self-extracting zip file that contains the PC software needed to upload the new program file to the Infinity controller. 2. Save the new program file (**.bin) that you received by email to your computer’s C drive. 3. Double clicking on the Infinity.exe file that was saved to your computer (don’t double click the program on this web page) will create a new folder on your C drive titled J_KEM. The J_KEM folder contains the software needed to upload the new program. The J_KEM folder also contains a ReadMe.txt file that provides step-by-step instructions on how to upload the new program, it is helpful to print this file. |

NOTE: Some corporate web filters will not allow you to download a “.exe” file. If your system will not allow you to download Infinity.exe, then try this: 1. Right click on the program “Infinity.abc” below and select “Save Target As..” from the pop-up menu. Save this file either to your C drive or the Desktop of your PC. Once it has been saved, rename the file to “Infinity.exe”. Once you have the Infinity.exe file, simply continue as outlined above. |
