DVR-300  The DVR-300 is designed for vacuum systems that run continuously, such as oil-filled vacuum pumps, aspirators, or with systems that are "always on", like in-house vacuum systems.  When the DVR-300 is connected between a vacuum source and a piece of equipment, the vacuum valve inside the DVR opens and closes so as to regulate pressure inside the attached piece of equipment to within ± 1 mmHg.

DVR-380  The DVR-380 is designed for use with systems that regulate vacuum by turning on and off the vacuum pump itself, as is common when using a diaphragm vacuum pump.  The DVR-380 extends the life of diaphragm pumps by never forcing the pump to start against an established vacuum, which reduces pump life by over 50%.

Precision Vacuum & Pressure Regulator

0.1 Torr Regulation - No Mercury

J-KEM’s computer (built in) controlled pressure regulator maintains pressure to better than 0.1 mmHg in equipment as small as 5 ml flasks. Built from J-KEM’s Infinity Controller (see page 9), these instruments can be customized to perform user-defined tasks like adding reagents as a function of pressure and temperature (call for details). Three regulators are available to precisely control vacuums, positive pressures, and a combination of the two.

Catalog # Description
DVR-1000 Digital Vacuum Regulator. Precisely controls vacuums in the range of 0.1 to 760.0 mmHg (atmospheric pressure). Requires the selection of a PSV (below) that matches the volume of the system being regulated.
DPR-1100 Digital Pressure Regulator. Precisely controls pressures in the range of atmospheric pressure to 500 psi. Not for the regulation of vacuums. The maximum pressure range is user selectable. Replace the ‘*’ in ‘DPR-1100-*’ with the selected maximum pressure. Ranges: 15, 30, 60, 100, 200, 300, 500 psi.  Requires a PSV (below) that matches the volume of the system being regulated.
DDR-1200 Dual Range Vacuum & Pressure Regulator. Precisely controls both vacuum and positive pressures. The DDR-1200 is equipped with a dual range pressure transducer capable of accurately measuring pressures from full vacuum to the pressure limit of the transducer selected. The maximum pressure of the regulator is user selectable. Replace the ‘*’ in ‘DDR-1200-*’ with the selected maximum pressure. Ranges: 15, 35, 85, 185, 285, 485 psi.  The DDR-1200 requires two proportioning valves (below). Both valves connect to the system being controlled, the first to regulate vacuum, the second pressure.
PSV-2 Valve to use when apparatus total volume is 1 ml to 2 L
PSV-3 Valve to use when apparatus total volume is 10 ml to 4 L
PSV-4 Valve to use when apparatus total volume is 100 ml to 22 L
PSV-5 Valve to use when apparatus total volume is 1 L to 50 L
KEM-LOG Data acquisition software.  Logs time & pressure data to remote PC from DVR-1000/DPR1100/DDR1200
